Attendance Prize
Effective at our April 14th Union meeting, NALC BRANCH 2128 will be raffling off our “ATTENDANCE PRIZE” with a few minor revisions.
Forget about how we were awarding the prize last month or even last year. There are a new set of rules and they are as follows:
Each member of our branch, in good standing, will have their name placed into a container and will be eligible to win an attendance prize each month that we have a Union meeting.
The initial attendance prize will be $25 and will increase by $25 a month until a name is drawn and awarded to a member who is in attendance.
The attendance prize will increase by $25 each meeting with a maximum prize amount of $200.
The prize will remain at $200 until we have a winner.
After we have a winner for the $200, the prize will start at $25 again and increase by $25 each meeting until such time we again have a winner.
Being that we were at $100 last meeting, and we would like to have a winner, the attendance prize will be $125 at our April 14th Union meeting.
There will be one (1) raffle ticket for each member of the Branch.
Officers, shop stewards, and members holding a paid position in the Branch are not eligible.
You must be in attendance and be present at the time of the drawing in order to win.
Our objective of having this “Attendance Prize” is to give an incentive for our members to attend our union meetings, learn about what is going on in the Union and in the Postal Service, and bring us closer as a Union.
Good luck to all ... and I hope to see you at our next Union meeting.
