Starting Times

City letter carriers have an 8:00 am start time.

Any city letter carrier starting before 8:00 am must either be on an Overtime Desired List and be authorized early overtime by a supervisor ... or have a revised schedule signed by a shop steward and a supervisor.

If you are on a revised schedule, you are not eligible to work overtime.

Please do not take it upon yourself to start early unless you follow the above listed procedures.

I address this matter because it has surfaced from the craft.
